Honda CB 400 Super Four

This is the proud follower of the famous 1969 Honda CB 750. Rated by Discovery number 3 on the top of Greatest Motorcycles Ever. For nearly ten years Honda CB 400 was one of the top choices for many many riders. This all around bike has won the hearts of dispatch riders, training schools, commuters and even weekend racers. In 2004 Honda has introduce the replacement CBF 500 which is almost the same model only more environment friendly and up to date technology. Let us see some specification: Engine and transmission Displacement: 399.00 ccm (24.35 cubic inches) Engine type: In-line four Stroke: 4 Power: 53.00 HP (38.7 kW)) @ 11000 RPM Torque: 38.00 Nm (3.9 kgf-m or 28.0 ft.lbs) @ 9500 RPM Compression: 11.3:1 Bore x stroke: 55.0 x 42.0 mm (2.2 x 1.7 inches) Fuel system: Carburettor Valves per cylinder: 4 Fuel control: DOHC Cooling system: Liquid Gearbox: 6-speed Physical measures Dry weight: 168.0 kg (370.4 pounds) Seat height: 760 mm (29.9 inches) If adjustable, lowest setting. Low seat hight, light weight, good balance, minor damage when is dropped, support abuse. But most of all very forgiven with the beginner mistakes: - It's stops if you leave with the stand. - It's starts the engine in neutral even if you don't hold the clutch in. - Engine dies very hard if you keep it in very slow revs. - If you drop it the gas from the engine is spit out and engine stop immediately. So does it have any cons? Yeas but not that many: - It does not have any support for luggage so you cannot install a hard case in the back unless you make a custom one. - It reaches only 180 top speed although has 53 horse power. - Limited off road capabilities
